Red & Blue Club The Red & Blue Athletic Booster Club is a parent organization that provides active support for the MFS athletic department. During the 2010-2011 school year, the Club will meet on the following evenings at 7 p.m. in the Moriuchi Room of Stokes Hall: Monday, September 19, 2011 Monday, November 14, 2011 Monday, March 5, 2012 Monday, April 30, 2012 Over the years, the Red & Blue Club has funded new weight training equipment, a baseball backstop, scoreboards, and provided contributions to the Markia Harley Scholarship Endowment and the George Thomas Endowment for Faculty Salaries. In past years, the club has hosted all-school volleyball tournaments and assisted with the Varsity Night in the spring. Annual Events Red Sock Run The Red Sock Run was established in May 2004 in memory of former faculty member George Thomas, who passed away after 25 years of service to MFS. The event, which takes place annually on Alumni Weekend, features a One Mile Fun Run/Walk, a Toddler Trek for ages 5 and younger, and a 5K race.
