JERSEY
ORCHESTRAS
MOORESTOWN,
NJ – Two
Moorestown
Friends
School
students
have
been
selected
for
the
2005-2006
All-South
Jersey
high
school
and
middle
school
orchestras.
Senior
Caitlin
Baiada,
a
violinist
from
Moorestown,
was
selected
for
the
All
South
Jersey
High
School
Orchestra.
She
has
been
selected
all
three
times
she
has
auditioned
for
the
high
school
group.
Seventh-grader
Louise
Peterson,
a
violinist
from
Moorestown,
was
selected
for
the
Middle
School
Orchestra
for
the
second
consecutive
year.
The
students
will
participate
in
the
All
South
Jersey
Orchestras
concert
at
Rowan
University
at
3
p.m.
Sun.,
Jan.
8.
George
Stallé of
Moorestown
directs
the
Moorestown
Friends
School
instrumental
music
program.
Gabriela
Mandescu
of
Collingswood
directs
the
Moorestown
Friends
School
String
Ensemble.
To
qualify
for
the
groups,
the
students
had
to
pass
a
rigorous
audition,
which
included
performing
a
selected
work,
playing
scales
and
sight-reading.
