MOORESTOWN MINISTERIUM AND WORLD VISION SPONSOR
WORLD AIDS DAY COMMUNITY DINNER AND PROGRAM, DECEMBER 1
Community members are invited to attend a World AIDS Day Community Dinner and Program, featuring World Vision Artist Associate and vocalist Neah Lee, on Friday, December 1, at 6:30 p.m., in the Moorestown Friends School Dining Hall/Commons. The event is sponsored by the Moorestown Ministerium and World Vision. Tickets are not required, but reservations are requested and can be made by calling (856) 235-1688. There will be a free will offering.
“AIDS is the greatest humanitarian crisis in world history,” said David Snyder, Executive Director of Development for World Vision. “Our overriding objective with this program is awareness and education. We want to raise consciousness of the AIDS crisis and challenge people to do something about it.”
Snyder will serve as master of ceremonies. Neah Lee, in addition to performing, will be speaking about the World Vision child sponsorship program. Lee, an up-and-coming Christian artist, has released two albums, Without Wax (2005) and (in)significance (2003).
Dinner will be provided by Georgetti’s of Cinnaminson.
