MFS News May 14, 2010 TEN STUDENTS HONORED FOR COMPLETION OF HONORS PROGRAM
Ten MFS seniors were honored for completion of the MFS Honors Program at a ceremony the evening of May 13. The Honors Program is a two-year sequence of curricular requirements, including completing various AP courses and undertaking a capstone project. Students are selected based upon their academic record, intellectual curiosity, motivation, self-discipline, organization, an ability to work independently and strong teacher recommendations. This year’s class of the MFS Honors Program are Alison Barton, Monica Chelius, Philip Dorsey, Robert Engel, Clara Fischer, Samantha Kay, Jacob Montgomery, Kathryn Schlechtweg, Arianne Taormina and Tej Trivedi.
