JUNIOR WINS AWARD AT MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE
Contingent of 25 MFS Students Attends Johns Hopkins University Conference

Moorestown Friends School (MFS) junior Jake Montgomery won an award at the Johns Hopkins University Model United Nations Conference held from March 5 - 8 in Baltimore. Montgomery, who lives in Medford, represented Lebanon as Minister of Labor and won the award for “Outstanding Delegate” on the Lebanese triumvirate. Approximately 800 student delegates from over 75 schools attended this year’s conference.

Other MFS students who attended the conference were seniors Anya Gelernt (Moorestown) and Paige Joffe; juniors Jim Crudele, Robert Rinaldi, Tyler Bard and Dreher Chapman; sophomores Harrison Krohn, Wyeth Shabel, Alex Schoifet, Jake O’Donnell, Samantha Perzin, Peter Barna , Alexandra Hovatter, Anushi Patel, Chandler Hart-McGonigle, Louise Peterson, Liz Boccolini, Taylor Horn, Darshak Thosani, Nate Rivera-Soto and Devin Massaro; and freshmen Lauren Goldsmith, Doug Adair and Joe Antanokakis.

Middle School/Upper School Social Studies teacher Joel Hager is the Model U.N. advisor.
