Red and Blue Club January Events
The Red and Blue Club is hosting a flurry of events in January. Show your Fox Pride and come out to support our athletics teams! GO FOXES!!!
"White
Out" Night vs. George School TOMORROW - Friday, January
7
Boys Varsity Basketball: 5:30 p.m.; JV:
4 p.m.
Don your white t-shirt and come cheer the Foxes in their Friends
League opener vs. George School. "White Out" Night
is borrowed from Penn State students, who fill their stadium
and arena in white for sporting events. MFS fans are encouraged
to wear white and fill the Field House with support for the home
team wearing their white uniforms. The Red and Blue Club has
donated white t-shirts to be used for any fans that may not have
a white t-shirt at the game. The unused and worn t-shirts will
be cleaned and donated to Ready,
Willing and Able, a holistic, residential, work and job skills
training program in Philadelphia which helps homeless individuals
in their efforts to become self-sufficient, contributing members
of society. The Upper School LEAD (Lead, Engage, Act, Deliver)
Club has coordinated the effort, led by senior basketball players Curran
Ellis and Galen Spencer-Linzie. GO

Grab
a Pretzel and Cheer on the Fencing Teams - Tuesday, January 11
Boys and Girls Varsity Fencing:
4 p.m.
The Red and Blue club will be handing
out FREE SOFT PRETZELS to fans at the boys and girls fencing matches
on Tuesday, January 11 vs. West Windsor Plainsboro-South. The matches
begin at 4 p.m. in the Practice Gym.

Red and Blue Takes the Pretzels on
the Road - Thursday, January 13
Parent Bill Brady will take the
pretzels on the road when the boys and girls swimming teams open
their Friends League slate at George School on Thursday, January
13. Swimmers will have a pre- or post-game snack at the ready as
they travel to Newtown. GO FOXES!

Red and Blue Spirit Day for Quad Night
vs. Friends' Central - Friday, January 21
Girls JV Basketball: 3:45 p.m.;
Boys JV Basketball: 5:15 p.m.
Girls Varsity Basketball: 6:30 p.m.; Boys Varsity Basketball: 8 p.m.
To prepare for the evening's home basketball quadruple header vs. Friends' Central,
students are encouraged to show their colors - RED or BLUE - on
Friday, January 21. As part of the year-long Color Day celebration, all students
wearing their respective color to school will record a Color Day point for their
teams. The Friends' Central boys basketball team is ranked No. 1 in the state
of Pennsylvania by Maxpreps.

MFS Night at the Philadelphia Wings
- Saturday, January 29
Join
MFS families at the Wells Fargo Center for the high-scoring, action-packed
excitement of Philadelphia Wings lacrosse as they take on the Colorado
Mammoth on Saturday, January 29 at 7 p.m! After the game, stay
and watch the MFS boys lacrosse team participate in an intersquad
scrimmage on the field. Tickets are $15 per person and can be through
purchased through January 21. To register, download
the order form and return the completed form with payment to
Stokes Hall Attn: Matt
Nierenberg, Director of Parent and Alumni Programs. Children
must be accompanied by an adult.
