The Franklin Institute traveling weather show
reveals the science of weather...to the extreme. Where does our
weather come from, and what factors make it a sunny day or a
blustery one? Watch the presenter make a cloud, explore thunder
and lightning, and even create snow. We promise a stormy ending
to this show as the presenter demonstrates the power of a tornado. |

From the Auction Chairs...Hippo Photos Needed!
The
2011 Auction Committee is hard at work, planning an evening that
will be one to remember. Since we are in the midst of the year-long
celebration of the school’s 225th Anniversary, certain
aspects of the evening will focus on the history of MFS – one
being The Hippo. We are asking members of the community to share
any photos they may have of The Hippo from their time here at
school. Photos can be e-mailed to Director of Parent and Alumni
Programs Matt Nierenberg or
brought to the Development Office, in the basement of Stokes
Hall, to be scanned and returned. If you are interested in submitting
any photos for this project, please have them in by Friday, January
28. If you have any questions, please contact Matt Nierenberg
at (856) 914-4416. Thank you in advance, and we look forward
to seeing you at the Auction on March 12.
The Auction will be held on Saturday, March
12 at the Scottish Rite Ballroom and Theater in Collingswood.
